Lesson Reflection
Lesson 1 allowed students several opportunities to work collaboratively, in groups, and gain access and experience to the original text/language. All student voices were heard, and the setup of the activity provided a safe environment for students to feel comfortable to present and speak in front of their peers. The activity required more time than originally expected; therefore, not all students had the opportunity to present on the same day. This caused some students to experience reservations when they had to return to the activity and present the following day. The momentum of the activity and the opportunity to speak would have been much more fluid had every student had the opportunity to present on the same day.
